– Last week’s blog was mainly about Red Bull Stratos, the mission of one man jumping from space from a gigantic helium filled balloon. It was originally scheduled for last Tuesday, but due to bad weather, the jump did not take place until Sunday afternoon. – Apple is at it again! Just one month after unveiling their new iPhone 5 and iOS 6, Apple has an event scheduled this month to showcase the new version of the iPad. Although it is not confirmed, mainly because of Apple’s secrecy, this event is sure to detail and unveil their new design at a smaller iPad. The tagline for the event is, “We’ve got a little more to show you”. The event is scheduled for the 23rd, aka the next “Technology Tuesday”, how fitting. (via cNet)

– Last weekend, the legendary space shuttle Endeavor was officially retired and supposed to meet its final destination in a Los Angeles museum. The 12 mile adventure to the museum Endeavor embarked on took a lot longer than most expected; it was actually 17 hours late. The shuttle crawled through Los Angeles at a whopping 2 mph and was deterred by many different turns, bystanders, utility poles and trees. (via Miami Herald)
