South Florida Printing Company to Ship 1 Million Cubs World Series Shirts
Last Wednesday, the Chicago Cubs and their fans celebrated in Cleveland and Chicago, but a South Florida T-Shirt company began making their celebratory shirts. When the Cubs made the final out in the bottom of the 10th inning in last Wednesday’s game, Atlas Embroidery (one of the many South Florida companies we insure), in Fort Lauderdale, began pressing World Series shirts.
The company said they are expecting to make at least 1 million T-Shirts. “Yeah, you know, we’re on the phone talking with the MLB,” said Atlas Embroidery owner Adam Cohen. “They give us the word as soon as it’s time to go. (Wednesday) night, it was after the last pitch and whole place converted. About 10 minutes later, we started printing shirts, and we’ve been going ever since.”
